Colorado Amateur Radio Weather Net
…Did you know?
We’ve been taking weather reports from stations in Colorado and surrounding states and passing along the Colorado reports every day to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Colorado as a public service of Amateur Radio since September 21,1955. That’s over 25,000 consecutive nets and reports and over 750,000 messages handled!
If you have a radio, a weather station, a certified four-inch rain gauge, and a sense of dedication at your house, and if you would like to contribute to the NWS climatological and short-term forecasting databases for the state of Colorado–check us out. We meet every day at 0630 Mountain Time, on 3989KHz (LSB) and on the 146.940 RMRL Repeater (103.5Hz PL) with Net Control Stations available at 0600. If you’re interested, ask one of the Net Control stations for more information…
